Activities

MathWin platform is an ongoing project that encompasses several activities. Among them, we include:

  • Problem-solving training: We believe that the most efficient way to improve students’ skills in mathematics is to allow them to solve problems. That is why we provide them, within the MathWin platform, with hundreds, and even thousands, of worldwide mathematical problems covering various subjects. Here.
  • Online Courses: The proposed problem-solving activities are accompanied by several courses given by specialized professors. Here
  • Reading Groups: The MathWin platform also offers “reading groups” in which students, predominantly graduate students (i.e., those preparing for their Ph.D.), discuss and progress through well-known books covering specific mathematical issues. Here
  • Online events: Pure Math Open days: A three-day event to introduce undergraduate students to several areas of pure mathematics. More details can be found at: PMOD.
  • Research Seminar: A regular online seminar, known as the Tassili Sunday Maths Seminar (TSMS), is organized by Ph.D. students and Postdocs. More details can be found at: TSMS.
